Summer Lavender cotton gauze wrap
Delicate Summer Lavender is a fabulous colour, not just loved by mums but dads like it too as it's a paler cousin of our very popular Mystic Blue. If you like this one buy it now as the light coloured "Summer" range of colours are being retired soon so this may be your last chance to have one.
To look after it all you have to do is wash and dry it as you would any other of your cottons. In the warm weather it dries super quickly so its very practical too. Once it's washed and dried it's ready to use and the more you wash it and use it the softer it becomes.
The Medium suits most people who want to use it for most carries. If you are very tall or over a UK dress size 16 buy the Long. A wrap size 6 is the same as our Medium which is 4.6m long and a wrap size 7, is the same as our Long which is 5.2m.
The wiidth of the wrap is exactly the same regardless of the length and you'll see that the ends are cut on the diagonal so that it's easy to tye and you don't have bulky knots.
As the wrap is made from 100% natural cotton gauze it feels super light to wear and is breathable so you and your baby feel cool and comfortable even in the heat.
When you wear your wrap you'll find that it spreads your baby's weight evenly over your back and shoulders whist you carry him/her. As you get used to it and your baby grows you will be able to carry him or her for longer periods whilst your carrying muscles get stronger.
All Calin Bleu wraps are made in the UK and are safety tested and comply with the BS EN 13209-2:2005 which is the baby carrier safety standard for the UK and Europe.
Follow the instructions that come with it to carry your baby or toddler on the front, hip or back from 3.5kg to 15kg or 7lbs to 33lbs. That's about the weight of a newborn to a 2 or 3 year old.

When you use any type of baby carrier or sling please ensure that your child is positioned safely. This video illustrates the T.I.C.K.S checklist that you can use every time you carry your baby to make sure they are safe:T.I.C.K.S.TIGHT IN VIEW AT ALL TIMESCLOSE ENOUGH TO KISSKEEP CHIN OFF THE CHESTSUPPORTED BACKTIGHT - slings and carriers should be tight enough to hug your baby close to you as this will be most comfortable for you both. Any slack/loose fabric will allow your baby to slump down in the carrier which can hinder their breathing and pull your back.IN VIEW AT ALL TIMES - you should always be able to see your baby's face by simply glancing down. The fabric of a sling or carrier should not close around them so you have to open it to check on them. In a cradle position your baby should face upwards not be turned in towards your body.CLOSE ENOUGH TO KISS - your baby's head should be as close to your chin as is comfortable. By tipping your head forward you should be able to kiss your baby on the head or forehead.KEEP CHIN OFF THE CHEST - a baby should never be curled so their chin is forced onto their chest as this can restrict their breathing. Ensure there is always a space of at least a finger width under your baby's chin.SUPPORTED BACK - in an upright carry a baby should be held comfortably close to the wearer so their back is supported in its natural position and their tummy and chest are against you. If a sling is too loose they can slump which can partially close their airway. (This can be tested by placing a hand on your baby's back and pressing gently - they should not uncurl or move closer to you.) A baby in a cradle carry in a pouch or ring sling should be positioned carefully with their bottom in the deepest part so the sling does not fold them in half pressing their chin to their chest.REMEMBER TO ALWAYS CHECK YOUR CARRIER FOR WEAR AND TEAR EVERY TIME YOU USE IT. IF IN DOUBT DON'T USE IT AND CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER.

Perfect for warmer weather

I bought this at the recommendation of a friend and I just love it. The purchase and dispatch went smoothly and I simply love the wrap, cooler than any of my others and yet very supportive. As an added bonus, it comes with sleepy dust ;) highly recommend it.
Great cooler wrap

I bought this wrap for use through the summer as it is so much cooler than my Moby and woven wraps. And it does the trick.
As it is gauze, it is a little stiffer, less soft and supple as my other wraps, so needs a little more wearing in, but don't let this put you off.
Width also seems narrower than my others.
Length is perfectly suitable for me (I'm a size 12) and depending on how I wrap it, it is sometimes possible to wrap right around to front so I don't have tails.
The soft lavender is a lovely subtle soft blue/purple colour so it works beautifully with wearing either of these colours.

I bought this as the weather is warm an my other wrap is too thick.
I was very happy with this wrap: it's thin but feels sturdy; lovely and cool for the summer. It's a lovely colour and it arrived very quickly.
I would recommend this to anyone.
Lovely wrap for warmer weather

I bought this wrap for my little boy. Also having a toddler to look after, I found that having a sling meant I had my hands free while keeping my newborn close to me. When the hot weather arrived, we were getting far too hot in the stretchy wrap so a friend suggested a woven wrap. I purchased this & haven't looked back! So much cooler for us both & a really lovely colour. I agree it has taken a little wearing in, but such great value for money compared to other woven wraps I looked at. Looking forward to trying out some different carries as my little one gets older.

I purchased this sling for my daughter when she was just 2 weeks old. She had trouble settling into a moses basket or carry cot so I thought I'd try out a sling. This has been absolutely brilliant, a life savour! My daughter loves being in it and falls asleep instantly nearly every time we use it. I go shopping in it and am able to get things done around the house while she snuggles into me. Perfect for both of us and ideal for skin to skin contact! Highly recommended.
good för the summer

I bought the sling in preparation for the arrival for my new baby in June. It was quite crunchy and crisp when it arrived but a couple of washes and some platting and playing with later and it's lovely and soft. I've been using it as bump support and it's quite grippy to wrap with but really nice and cool. Colour is lovely but I'm going to have it grad dyed to make it easier to distinguish the rails (and make it even prettier :) )
