Olive cotton gauze wrap
Olive is a gorgeous green that's been one of our best sellers for years. It's easy to take care of, it's machine washable and dries on the line. Wash it as soon as you get it and before you use it. This enables the cotton fibres to regain their stretch after the dying process and is much easier to handle when you're tying it.
We have 2 sizes to choose from. Most people wear a size 6 i.e. Medium which is 4.6m long but if you are very tall or over a size 16 then go for a size 7, i.e. Long and 5.2m.
Whichever length you choose the width of the wrap is the same. When you stretch it out you'll see that it looks like a parallelogram. The reason the ends are cut on the diagonal is so that it's easier to tye a knot.
The fabric feels very light when you're wearing it and of course as it's natural cotton it's breathable too. There's really no better solution when you're carrying your baby in the heat. Both of you will keep cool and comfortable and as the wrap will spread the weight of your baby evenly over your back and shoulders you'll be surprised at how long you can carry your baby without getting sore muscles. As your baby gets heavier your muscles get stronger so you can be comfortable for longer.
All Calin Bleu wraps are made in the UK and are safety tested and comply with the BS EN 13209-2:2005 which is the baby carrier safety standard for the UK and Europe.
Follow the instructions that come with it to carry your baby or toddler on the front, hip or back from 3.5kg to 15kg or 7lbs to 33lbs. That's about the weight of a newborn to a 2 or 3 year old.

A good summer wrap, that is supportive, even for a large wriggly 16 month old.
Perfect for summer time!

A great lightweight wrap, surprisingly grippy so easy for people new to wrapping. Love the gender neutral m colour.
Fantastic - I've just bought another

I bought this sling in 2013 because it was the lightest material for summer - my son must have been carried in it almost everyday, on the front, until he was about 14 months. We used it shopping, gardening, climbing mountains, backpacking, dog walking, hanging out the washing, orienteering, working outdoors....so much easier than a buggy, and he could go anywhere with me and we could chat face to face and he was involved in all conversations as he was at head height. Great if your baby is not feeling 100% - just carry all day to keep them happier. Easy to put on - after a short while you just get used to knowing how tight to tie; washes and dries really quickly. Cooler in summer and I didn't find any need to have a thicker wrap for winter. My second son is now using it and has been in it daily for 7 months/since birth. It's had a huge amount of use and I'm delighted with how long it has lasted - it is a bit worn in places so I have just ordered a replacement! If I was buying for a first baby again I would probably buy 2 - I use a soft ergo/manduca style carrier as a spare but it's no where near as comfortable for front carrying. The wide sling fabric is much more comfortable for my back and supports my baby much better for the active lifestyle we lead and the amount of time I can be carrying a child for. I will miss carrying a baby!

I bought my Calin Bleu wrap for my little boy who has just turned one - and wish I'd had it from the start! Having four dogs to walk daily around the local lanes and fields, I was starting to struggle with his buggy(3 wheel all-terrain) and the dogs. He had outgrown his traditional carrier that I've had from birth, but even when he was small the straps made my shoulders ache. I've also got a back carrier, but this is the same. After reading other parents reviews and articles on babywearing I decided to give wraps a go. My Calin Bleu wrap is so comfy, the fabric is beautifully soft and the price was great. I ordered the extra length, thinking it would allow for more carry options, but I don't think I needed it. I can now comfortably carry my LB for hours and he is also very comfy and can even feed if we're out and about at nap time. Thanks Calin Bleu!
Lovely colour and weight

This is my first Calin Bleu wrap. It's much lighter than my other woven wrap which is great for warmer temps. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I worry that the edges are cutting into DS's legs a bit more than the thicker wraps. I've only washed it once so far, so I'm hoping that as I break it in this issue will subside.
Sad my babies have out grown sling riding :-(

It's really hard to give up slinging! I loved my Calin Bleu. I want to buy this olive gauze one ... and discover some more ways of tying, but my days of playing with slings are over ... unless I'm going to use them for carrying firewood or grand children! LOL. Ok ... now I feel better! :-)
yummy olive gauze wrap

I love the new wrap thingy, it's much cooler than our last one since it's a thinner fabric. This comes with the slight drawback that it's not as sturdy as a thicker fabric wrap when having the baby for a longer time in it. I need to keep adjusting it for the baby to sit correctly. It might be a practice issue though, maybe I'll learn to tie it better and so forth enjoy a sturdier wrap.
I still really love it and use it daily, I would recommend it to anyone! It's the best way to keep your child close and still have your hands free. A Babybjörn sort of baby carrier doesn't allow the child to sit in the frog position which is preferable for the pelvis in newborn and small children. Since you can tie the gauze wrap in many ways, you can not only achieve this but it will be usable in more ways as the baby grows, i.e. having it on the back.
I would recommend getting the longer one, then you won't risk it being too short to tie when your baby gets bigger and if you gain weight later on (i.e. when you stop breast feeding ;))

After borrowing a friend's Calin Bleu wrap for a few months I decided to buy my own. I am in love with it and keep looking for more chances to wear it! Very comfy, very versatile, very pretty. If you don't have one, get one.
Great lightweight wrap :)

I was unsure about buying online before trying it out (a little difficult, seeing that we live in Vienna, Austria) But I'm glad I did as I found a great wrap :)
I like the light fabric and that it was really easy to use. It's lIghtweight, takes up very little space, dries really fast after a wash. Great to use with little ones - and no strain on the back either.
