Mountain Grey cotton gauze wrap
Although it's mostly mums that buy our wraps the dads who are interested in carrying their baby generally prefer a wrap that is a little more subtle. Mountain Grey seems to fit the bill perfectly. It's a light, neutral colour that goes with anything, whether it's shorts, jeans, T-shirts or wedding atire. It really is perfect for any season and any outfit. You can't go wrong with this colour, which I guess is why it's one of our top sellers.
Taking care of your Calin Bleu is simply a matter of putting it in the wash and hang it out to dry. It can go in with all your other items on your usual 30 or 40 degree wash. The colour doesn't run and washing it regularly helps soften it up. Drying is super quick, especially in warm weather when it can dry in miuntes. Very handy when you're on holiday!
Most people will choose a size Medium. The sizing is dependent on your height and dress size. A Long is for very tall people or if you're over a UK dress size 16. A wrap size 6 is the same as our Medium which is 4.6m long and a wrap size 7, is the same as our Long which is 5.2m.
The wiidth of all the wraps is exactly the same regardless of the length. You'll see that the ends are cut on the diagonal so that when you are tying the wrap the knots are less bulky. It makes it much easier to tye them too.
The cotton gauze fabric we use feels very light and comfortable when you're wearing it so it's the perfect choice for summer. It's 100% natural cotton which means it's breathable so when you and your baby do get hot your skin won't get sweaty as the wrap will absorb the excess body heat. Both you and your baby will be able to keep cool and stay comfortable when you're out and about enjoying the sunshine!
The wrap spreads your baby's weight evenly over your back and shoulders whist you carry him/her. As you get used to it and your baby grows you will be able to carry him or her for longer periods whilst your carrying muscles get stronger.
All Calin Bleu wraps are made in the UK and are safety tested and comply with the BS EN 13209-2:2005 which is the baby carrier safety standard for the UK and Europe.
Follow the instructions that come with it to carry your baby or toddler on the front, hip or back from 3.5kg to 15kg or 7lbs to 33lbs. That's about the weight of a newborn to a 2 or 3 year old.

I liked it, but baby didn't

ordered it last year before my summer baby was born. liked the light fabric and colour. but the baby didn't liked it at all. at the beginning probably because it was too hot and we were sweating both despite the light fabric. but later, when his vision developed, he was simply too curious to be hold or worn facing me. I know this now, but at that time couldn't understand why he was crying every time I put him inside. later, when he was old enough, I bought ergobaby 360 carrier where he can sit facing forward and he is soooo happy. have tried to carry him as he is older now facing me or on my hips, but he still doesn't like it at all. i still have calin wrap, hoping that the next baby will be less curious so I will be able to use it. ;)
Love this but a little shorter than some wraps..

Love this. It's really lightweight, rolls up small and works really well. A great summer wrap. My only minor grumble is that it's shorter than my thicker woven wrap (from another company). The 4.6m is measured from the outside edge of the diagonal cut on the ends of the material, making it 4.6 all in, including the tying 'tails'. My other wrap measures 4.6m from the end before the diagonal tail. It makes this one too short for my husband to use and doesn't give me loads of growing space in a front tie. My baby is a (90th centile) 12 weeker and I'm a dress size 14.
small simple and light weight

perfect wrap for the summer, a little stiff but I like it overall. Quick and easy to order, and a fantastic price considering other wraps on the market.

Very nice wrap, perfect for summers/hot weather: not heavy and airy. Beautiful "warm and rich" grey color. Very happy with my purchase :)!
